The Kyabram Show has been running since 1924 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027. It is held annually on the third Saturday of October and showcases many different agricultural, horticultural and pastoral pursuits for Kyabram and its surrounding community.
The Kyabram Rodeo is held on the Friday night of the Labour Day Long Weekend.
It is one of the top 5 longest running rodeos in Australia and has been inducted inot the Rodeo Hall of Fame. The event began in 1946 and was originally held on the Monday of the long weekend. 2005 saw the transition to the Friday night spectacular and it now draws crowds from all across Australia.
The Rodeo forms part of a 3-event tri-series with Merrijig and Chiltern also held on the same weekend. It attracts world class riders from across Australia to compete for the tri-series buckles.
